Besok Hari Raya!.. yippeee

Greetings from down south!.. Hello Lovely ladies.. by the time you read this, I am already with my family at our vacation home down south.. how I miss this home so much.. my parents built this house 2 years ago.. and we try to spend as many time as possible here at this house..

this is the road to the house.. the small road that lead to the main gate.. see the coconut tree at the corner.. the tree is not so high and so plucking the coconuts is no problemo and furthermore, we enjoy drinking coconut water with lots of ice on a hot day.. need a glass? come & join me here!.. hehehehehe

then we shall drive to this Muar River and enjoy its view and also the street food (local food) around the area.. especially Mee Bandung, Rojak Petis and Satay!.. yum yum..

aahhhh this is porch, the place where mom & dad spent their time playing with their grandkids.. especially dad who loves to drag all the 4 grandkids around the house and teach them about the fruit trees dad had planted all around the house. Mom also has her own herbs garden patch back at the kitchen.

and of course the best part is when dad loves looking at his grandkids playing!.. hehehehehehe.. these are just two of them danced.. isn't this fun!!!

while me, I normally will cross over the house and spend time with my grandma and my aunts & uncles and cousins.. I have about 50 cousins from mom side's alone.. so, each time we celebrate Eid' Fitr' it would be a big family event!..

To those who wonder what is Eid' Fitr', it is a celebration that mark the end of fasting in the month of Ramadan.. or known as Hari Raya Puasa.. On this day, we shall perform Eid' Fitr' prayer and visit the graveyard and eat special dishes that mom cook in the early morning. We shall wake ups early and put on our new dresses i.e. Baju Melayu with Samping for the men and Baju Kurung or Kebaya for the ladies.. then later in the afternoon, we shall go & visit our relatives from house to house..

In my family, we really enjoy our Eid' Fitr' as this is the only time we got to meet our family relatives and friends from near & far and enjoy each other companies..

Welp, lovely ladies.. I got to go now.. we are going to play fire crackers for the adult and sparklers for the kids.. cya! take care!
