Having a great time..

I wanted to write something.. but after such a good long break, I don't know what to write or what to share.. but believe me, I or rather the kids had a great time at our down south family home with our parents, relatives and love ones!.. We pigged out on so many delicious home cook family dishes and after like few days, all of us are bloated to the max! teehee.. (I ain't no kidding on that bloated part! teehee..)

(come and join me for a cuppa tea)

The kids had wonderful time playing with their cousins, uncles, aunties, grandparents and grand uncles & aunties.. they even took out camping tent and camped themselves, the five of them at the back of the house.. teehee.. they brought out some pillows, good old books and toys to keep them busy! and when nite came, they played fire crackers almost every nite, of course under adult supervision.. teehee..

(a pot of tea waiting for you..)

We also went to visit our uncles, aunties and even went to dad's orchard to look for some local fruits namely Durian, Rambutan, Mangosteen that are in season and boy, oh boy, Dad is one happy man when all the hard work at the orchard pays!

(fresh home made scones with strawberries and blackberries are here for you..)

In all the good times, there is one sad moment in our family.. seeing my grandma (mumsie dearest mom) not doing great.. she has been bedridden for almost 2 months and we are praying very very hard that she will get better soon..

(don't these berries remind you of Summer..)

Before we headed home, we stopped over in Malacca to do some sight seeing..
this time we didn't visit many places as the weather were hot & humid..

(they are so deliciously sweet!)

All good things must come to an end..
after few days down south,
we are back to the city and currently chilling out at home
before school starts anytime soon..

(the last crumbs of the scone during one of our tea treats!)

and boy oh boy.. I really miss my bed..
HOME SWEET HOME!

till next post dear happy people!

Adieu!
