Veggies taste better in rose bowls..

Happy VTT dear happy people.. I hope you all have a great week and today, I wanted to share with you these two veggie bowls I received from my mom's dear helper..

My mom's helper is such a nice girl who happen to work in my household for few months when I had my second child. Then, I handed her over to mumsie dear as both parents need her more than myself.. anyway, she is very reliable, a very good cook, and provide great help to both mumsie dear and daddy dearest.. and well love by all of us..

So, last October she went back to her home town for a holiday and brought me these two bowls.. I don't know whether it is appropriate to call these bowls as tureen as they were small in size. To me, they look more like veggie bowls but with covers..

Nonetheless, they are are my fave bowls..
just look at the lid, isn't that pretty or what?
Don't you agreed?

I was told that these bowls were once belong to her great grandmother in the late 60's and had been used daily to serve their fave condiments, sweet meats, candies and what not..

I am so thankful to her for passing me these pretty bowls coz they were rare items which you hardly find it here, locally..

I don't know where they were made from as both came with out stamp at the back of the bowls, nevertheless, these are just lovely pretties to add to my full to the brim display cabinet..

Anyway, these were not the only pretties she brought back, there were few more teapots rounded and sturdy one for mum and hexagon single rose teapot for SIL, cups & saucers all with roses but were divided to three of us, mumsie dearie, SIL and moi..
