vintage thingies thursday

Hello happy people! Hows your week so far? I just can't wait for Friday to come, as we gonna have a long weekend.. and thanks to Labour day! hehehehe.. I seriously got to finish up clearing some of the unwanted trees in my small garden.. am cutting down the palm trees and trimming down the huge borgainvilla trees as well.. *sigh* big task you know and long over due! btw this is a scheduled post..

anyway, cut short, so here I am sharing you my vintage thingies thursday stuff.. this is my late great grandmother's vintage soup plate. this one actually was my mom but since she got few of them, she gave me one..

this is made in England by Johnson Brothers ~ pattern named : Irene. It has crown stamp on back rim of the soup plate.. just look at the delicate scroll around the plate.. the plate has millions of small cracks and a chip rim.. but who cares??!! hehehehehe the more cracks it has, the better! I wonder what was the story behind this plate.. no one in my family knows..

then, the next one is another Johnson Brothers ~ pattern name : Paris.. I have two of this pattern in different colours. The green one below and the black one (scroll down) with white tea set.

girls, these are just some of my small collection.. I might add few more if I ever find them.. but as always, these kind of plates are hard to get now a days.. *sigh* you are lucky if you still get them..
